Improve your Bodyboarding in Empty Line-ups

It’s a strange thing, but after a few days in our Secret Morocco location you start taking the distinct lack of people for granted. When you wake up and see lines coming in you know that there will be a few spots very nearby that will be firing. Normally you’d expect to have to compete for a few waves at most breaks around the world, but not here. Here you can be patient and surf until your heart’s content. The crew on our latest trip caught ride after ride and capitalised on the epic empty beach and point breaks that are 2 minutes away from the Basecamp villa.

Bodyboarding Waves – Big Variety

It’s quite unbelievable what is in close proximity to the villa in this secret spot. Whether you walk down to the local beach break or jump in the car to travel 5 minutes down the road you will have plenty of wave choice during a week’s stay. From wedgey peaks, beach breaks and point breaks you will be spoilt for choice. No trip to this destination is the same due to the vast variety of spots on offer.

Bodyboard Tuition – Long Sessions in Perfect Conditions

As well as a broad range of waves for all abilities the lovely warm climate and warm waters means extra long sessions are a realistic ambition. This means during your average day you could expect to have 2 sessions that are at least 3 hours long if you wanted. Our hosts have built an awesome Bedouin style tent at the most consistent beach, which we use as a base camp. With freshly prepared food made daily you can refuel, catch some rays and hit the water when conditions are best. With these lengthy sessions and close quarters tuition you will see your riding skyrocket during a week long course. If you want to improve your overall technique or work on specifics, the coaches and photographers on hand will help you do so in a productive but fun environment.

Moroccan Culture – A Real Eye-Opener

Morocco is a diverse place to be, full of amazing culture and landscapes that give you a real sense of travel and adventure. The fact that we go off the beaten track to our secret location means you get an authentic Morocco experience away from the usual tourist trail. The villa is within walking distance to the local town and is a perfect place to soak up the culture with some fantastic places to eat as well as the Monday evening market and some great shops for gifts and of course the local bar for a cold beer or wine after a tough day in the sea.

Bodyboarding in the Sun – Perfect Holiday Destination Close to Home

With a good tail wind you can be in Morocco from the UK in roughly 3 hours. There are good air links from most international airports. To step off the plane and be greeted with a lovely warm breeze in November or March is awesome. The fact that you can escape Britain’s chilly months at a very low cost travel wise and be catching some waves in board shorts that very afternoon is incredible. Top up the tan for Christmas or get that base layer set in for the spring. Morocco is not only a great bodyboard destination but a perfect summery holiday where you can chill out too. The accommodation with swimming pool I should add, is a perfect place to kick back and relax. Secret Morocco is the ideal holiday to get plenty of waves, escape the hustle and bustle of life back home and feel reinvigorated with some major down time in the sun.
